Charlotte Kruse Madsen
Founder Charlotte Kruse Madsen is from Denmark. Educated at the École Hotelière de Lausanne in Switzerland and trained at Ida Davidsen’s in Copenhagen, she’s worked at five-star hotels across Europe. She founded the contract catering company Madsen Food in 2006, with the aim of bringing the Scandinavian food experience to London. The Madsen Restaurant sees a long-held dream of Charlotte’s come to fruition: a modern Scandinavian eatery in the heart of London.
Rune Skov Petersen
Rune is the Restaurant Manager and runs the restaurant on a daily basis. Rune is Danish - he grew up in Faxe in the South of Denmark, but lived in Copenhagen for ten years. Rune originally studied Philosophy, but changed direction and went to chef acadamy, before taking on the job as Restaurant Inspector. For the last six years Rune worked at Noerrebro Brewhouse in Copenhagen, the last three as Restaurant Manager, before joining the Madsen team in October 2011. Rune has a real interest for the industry and his passions are wine, beer and delivering great customer care.
